About Us

 Our Breeding Ewes

This year we bred three ewes for spring lambs.
These ewes are all seasoned mothers and we expect very nice lambs from them.  We are a very small operation, but we produce nice lambs.  Because we are small and have limited space, we set our prices to move the babies quickly. Watch for our lambs arrive.

MEINHOLZ EWE MRH 73S
The Little Red Headed Girl otherwise know as Red is our 3 yr. old moorit ewe. We purchased her from
Priscilla Meinholz at Woolfarm. She produces a fabulous fleece that everyone 'oohs and aahs' over. She was bred for her first lambing as a two year old and produced a single lamb ram for us.  We are excited to see what she gives us this year. Red has been bred to Caspian from Crossbreeze Icelandics.

Update: It is June 1st and Red is bagging up! Because of this late lamb (probably around June 15) we are retaining her. We will decide what to do with her after she lambs.  Red and her lamb are now being offered for sale. See the sale page.

Peppermint Patti
RTK EWE M4H 65S
This three year old ewe is a fine girl. We purchased her from the Kristofs at Red Trillium in 2006. She is a handsome moorit mouflan. She is the top sheep of our little flock. It is always Patti who keeps her eye on things. She has an erect, classy bearing. She gave us two gorgeous lambs at her first breeding in 2008 and a beautiful black mouflon single ewe lamb this year.

Marcy  MEINHOLZ EWE B5H 30S
This is our solid black 3 year old ewe, Marcy. We purchased her from Priscilla Meinholz at Woolfarm in 2006. She is sweet and nosey. She will follow me around the place if she is out of her pasture. She is probably our
meatiest ewe, and she produced nice solid twins for us at her first lambing. Marcy carries spotting so we are hoping to see some spots in the pasture again this year. She has been bred to Caspian from Crossbreeze Icelandics.

Update: Marcy gave us a handsome ram lamb on April 2nd.
She is an excellent milky mother and she lambs with ease.
Because of space constraints, we are offering her for sale also.  $400  Sold
